“Try living for a living” Not only do I believe in living life to its fullest, it’s also Sperry's Odysseys Await tagline. Who is Sperry? When chosen to be a part of the Sperry campaign, I shrieked with excitement because they are the brand that invented the original boat shoe in 1935, and also being a part of their new brand identity is nothing but an amazing opportunity!

           Bold. Courageous. Fearless. These are three of many ways to describe the intrepid Sperry consumer. Sperry itself is an authentic brand and I remember it as an amazing legacy while growing up. With the new Odysseys Await campaign, the consumer discovers more about themselves and the world around them. I chose to tell my story with Sperry through a small adventure on my own.

 We went to Palm Springs, California, with a group of friends and spent the day basking in the sun, telling jokes, and trying to enjoy the finer things in life with great company. Bringing my Sperry shoes along, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to inspire how to wear the brand away from the ocean while still keeping the brand aesthetic.

            We took our shoot to the desert heat and paired it with a button up, keeping the color palette of blue mist and olive the priority of the look. The white Sperry sneakers were the perfect touch to dress an outfit for a casual chic Sunday brunch. With sneakers being such an iconic statement, even in high fashion, I would love to know your thoughts on the trend. How would you wear it?
