What To Wear

With the busiest social season of the year, we all struggle to find the perfect outfit for that one party we’ve been looking forward to. But have you ever opened your closet and felt uninspired because none of the party tops and sequins feel right? When an outfit clicks for me, I feel complete. Sometimes, I find myself trying to get pieces to the outfit to work, such as the bag with the shoes or all of the jewelry, and it starts to feel forced or “off”. This season, I promised myself that I would think outside the box with my holiday looks and step away from your traditional ensembles.

I threw my sequin dress to the curb when I laid my eyes on this embellished cashmere sweater. Gorgeous right? I, immediately, knew this was the perfect top to complete a classic yet contemporary look that can work both for day and night festivities. Since the sweater is a combination of casual comfort, I chose to pair it with a leather midi skirt for an effortless look. This keeps the look still glitzy and glamorous but feminine with an edgy touch.

L.A. Winter Style

The holidays are the perfect time to spend time with your loved ones and also to go all out with

bold and festive outfits. I always want to be stylish but also create an effort that makes a big

impact with minimal effort. If you’re looking to spend more time with family and friends, you

want to choose a foundation piece and style your ensemble around it.

I chose my denim jeans and accessories to be the key items in my looks, in which the rest of the

pieces were styled around them. I picked a strong basic denim piece with nude pumps for a

classic look yet with a pop of pink, I know it will be an eye-catching piece this season.

The next look I opted in for a light denim washed piece to pair with these plum suede over the

knee boots. Since I wanted the color of the boots to make the maximum impact, I paired neutrals

to complement the rest of the look.

I hope you all are having an amazing December so far!

Navy Faux Fur

It's the holiday season, which means it's the season for fur. Faux fur, of course. Living in Los Angeles makes it hard to style any kind of fur jacket or scarf because it's usually too warm and we don't get any snow. However, when I came across this fur coat from Zara, I knew I had to make an exception for my closet.

I have always dreamed of wearing a white or pink fur coat while in the snow but until then, I opted in for a navy faux fur coat that made me forget about the weather in L.A. Its lightweight lining and fur makes it wearable for any location and it's an instant luxe factor touch to any look.
Since it was a casual weekend, I paired it with skinny jeans and a white button-up shirt making my coat the statement piece.

Have a wonderful weekend lovelies!

Olive & Vintage

When it comes to outfit posts, I try my best to get creative with my outfits. I feel each outfit can represent so much with an artistic background, whether it's architecture or scenery. We were browsing through our neighborhood, and we came across an abandoned gas station. Next to it was a mechanic shop with vintage cars in rustic colors. I, immediately, knew that this is where I wanted to shoot this outfit. It was an unconventional location but the the edgy feeling worked well with my feminine flares.
It's finally starting to cool down in L.A and we can layer. This olive double breasted blazer was the perfect layering piece over my chambray top. I added a grey infinity scarf to keep me warm and brought out the perfect flared jeans to pair with it.
I hope you all are having an amazing December so far! It's definitely one of my favorite months with all of the holidays and I am super thankful for all of your amazing support and love!

Acessories First

This post is sponsored by Target.

If there is anything I love more than clothing, its accessories. Not only do accessories complete one’s outfit but for me, they define my style and personality. The perfect bag and shoe can transform any outfit to chic in an instant. Jewelry is also a big statement piece! If you’re an accessories fan or not, rethink your style by thinking of the accessories as your main inspiration.

This holiday season, Target and I want to help you style your outfit by starting with your accessories first. I wanted to share a Holiday Fashion video that reflect multiple looks styled around one accessory.
(Insert video)

I have been very minimalistic lately and investing in collectible pieces. I like the idea of being able to purchase a staple blouse appropriate for all seasons. Accessories is where I like to have fun and explore with new trends. I chose a turquoise necklace and paired it with two different handbags. I kept my shoes nude because a patent pump is a classic shoe that can be worn in many ways.

Whether it’s a fur scarf, printed bag, or a cellphone case, don’t be afraid to have fun with your winter outfit!

With Love

With the Holiday season right around the corner, it’s my favorite time of year to spend with family and friends. It’s also a time to reflect back on the year and give back.  I have collaborated with Trollbeads to support the Red Cross in helping victims of conflicts and disasters. I believe each person can make an impact. Whether it’s donating blood, volunteering, or taking a class, every small effort counts and each person can make a difference.

The “With Love” bracelet from Trollbeads is the perfect reflection of my love for jewelry and compassion to care for those in need. My favorite part of this collaboration is that 100% of the proceeds go directly towards supporting the work of the Red Cross. The bracelet is a delicate leather tie-on bracelet with a bold, red bead that is handmade Italian glass. It comes in a beautiful gift box and I styled it with a jacquard blazer keeping the bracelet the main statement piece

To find out more about the “With Love” bracelet, visit Trollbeads.com!

It’s the perfect gift, just in time for the Holidays, and it supports the important work of the Red Cross.

I hope you help in raising awareness and contribute with a limited edition beautiful bracelet!

Lillian
