Navy & White Combo

It's the end of April and May is right around the corner!
Can you guess what that means? It's officially my birthday in two weeks. Time flies!
Aside from being my birthday, the month of May gets me excited for summer and that means it's time to bring out white denim.

For this look, I wanted to style my navy double breasted blazer for the warmer weather more. I had been looking for the perfect white boyfriend jeans for ages and I finally found this pair at Zara. Immediately, my vision came to mind and I knew how to style it. With summer approaching quickly, you will find me styling these white distressed jeans in numerous ways.

Blush Tones & White Roses

A classic boyfriend jean is as much of a staple as the white-button up shirt. It can be dressed up or down and for any occasion. Although it's Spring, our weather is still changing and I find myself still wearing jeans to keep warm for our cooler L.A. nights.  This weekend I wore them three times and in three different ways. I can't wait to show you how I styled them all throughout the week!

For this look, I wanted to mix colors and metal hardware making my whole outfit focused on my accessories. This blush color was such a pretty accent keeping the rest of the look flirty and feminine. I paired it with a statement necklace and gold strappy sandals. To break the pastel color palette, I added this edgy black and white clutch for a more bold statement.

Target Beauty Box

This post is sponsored by Target.
I’ve been really into beauty products lately and love trying new brands to find out how to update my beauty regime. When asked to be a part of Target’s campaign for their Spring Beauty Box, I squealed from excitement! Who doesn’t love Target? It’s definitely my go-to stop at least twice a week and when I find myself looking only for makeup wipes, I end up browsing each aisle for ten minutes.
With so many beauty products out there, Target has nailed the most efficient and easy way to try them all. The Beauty Box offers a variety of makeup, hair and skin care samples. I am always looking for ways to update my makeup and hair and, of course, keep my skin looking youthful. With this box, you’re able to not only try new brands and products, but discover new tips and tricks on how to update your look as well. The trick is in finding the right product for you and there are so many to choose from! Always read the label and don’t be afraid to test them out and have fun.

I will be creating a look within the next two weeks using products from the Beauty Box. I am excited to try the products and see how I can recreate one of my favorite beauty trends. With that being said, here is a breakdown of each item!

I can never leave my house without a bold lip color! This saturated lip color has a great shine and delivers a smooth and polished application. It’s not only moisturizing but it has a little bit of shimmer and sparkle since it’s a gloss. Adding a bold lip to any look can brighten up your outfit and also transform your outfit from day to night in an instant!

It’s a task in itself to apply foundation and makeup, but to have it last all day is a constant struggle amongst most of us. A makeup setting spray is always a must in the end! A quick finishing spray can extend your applied makeup to make it last longer. This Pro-Spray provides a freshness and it does not crack. A quick mist leaves it vibrant and looking fresh!

For all of you dry skin ladies, raise your hand! (I know that includes me!) I have an oily T-zone but the rest of my face is always dry and I have been looking for the perfect gel-cream to instantly hydrate my skin without making it feel greasy or oily. This Hydro Boost acts like a sponge and moisturizes the skin leaving it soft and smooth.

So far, does anyone else agree that everything in this Beauty Box is a must-have? A good makeup day is never complete without a great hair day! I style my hair often and an extra hold hairspray has grown to become my best friend. This TRESemme Hairspray is non-flaking and has the perfect amount of hold and texture.

After we applied all of that product both to our hair and face, it’s natural to renew them and bring life back to our skin and hair elasticity. This is a great antioxidant-rich shampoo that helps rejuvenate, revive, and hydrate hair without the buildup.

These five tailored-to-you beauty samples come in a springtime-ready box and are the perfect items tailored to your everyday needs!

ARMY GREEN OVERLOAD

It's not secret that army green and olive shades are making waves throughout the fashion community. It's Spring' coolest color trend and also a classic. It ranges anywhere from a lighter, closer-to-khaki color to a richer and deeper green.

So the big question is, how to wear the color?
What I love about this trend and hue is the utilitarian look. It looks great for weekend wear and chic errand running but pair it with a graphic tee, jewelry, and a metallic heel and you have transformed the whole look.
I love the boyfriend fit and tried to incorporate the over-sized trend with my look today. To add a feminine touch, I added these nude lace up sandals making the outfit more flirty and daring. Don't be afraid to mix the different green shades together!  The fit on these classic Levi's 501 jeans is slouchy enough to look cool yet tapered enough to make a bold statement with some strappy heels.

Anyone else can't get enough of the boyfriend fit?

Lillian

With Coachella kicking off for the second weekend tomorrow, I know everyone is wondering what to wear. These past two weeks have been filled with exciting new projects coming soon, preparing for Coachella, and also attending Coachella.
I want to apologize for being absent the past two weeks as it's been hectic but I promise you that I am back full force! (P.S. I can't forget the cold that also followed me home from Coachella)
If you have been following me along this past week on Instagram and Snapchat, you already know that I went to the pool parties and the festival itself.

Living in Los Angeles, Palm Springs is where Coachella takes place and being only a two hour car ride away, I knew I had to attend! This year was a little different, we spent the mornings at various events and made our away to the festival at nights.

I wanted to keep most of my outfits very clean and crip although Coachella is very boho inspired. I thought lace was very time appropriate and this cold shoulder detail adds an extra feminine touch.

Chambray & White

We all know by now how much I love denim.
I think this season, you will be seeing tons and tons of it in different washes and silhouettes.
It's such a classic staple that I believe in for all seasons because if dressed with lighter weight fabrications, it's perfect for spring but can also be layered for the cold.

I chose to keep this outfit all classic and use items that have been in my closet for years. I believe in investing in pieces that can be worn multiple times and in many ways.

This white denim skirt was actually a steal from my mother's closet. Classy and chic, right? She hadn't styled it for a while and when she saw me shoot this outfit, she was excited to bring it back out for spring.
Are you also a denim obsessed gal like me?
Happy almost Friday!

Lillian
