Grey & Black Shades

Hi Everyone!First off, I want to apologize for my week long hiatus. It's only been seven days but feels like a lifetime away from you all.
I am working on some really fun projects that I can not wait to share with you!
That is also the reason why I haven't been able to post recently because it's a work in progress and will be revealed soon. Hang in there! (excited squeal)

In the meantime, I have got another sweater weather post for you!
As much as I try to incorporate color into my wardrobe, I always seem to go back to classic white, black, and grey shades. Here I paired my over sized sweater over a white button up and styled it with black leather booties and a flared skirt.

I am also excited for Thanksgiving and preparing for the Holidays!

Lillian

Plaid & Tweed

It's finally cold here in Los Angeles and it's time to layer and bring out the scarves and boots!
A classic tweed coat has always been my staple for years and I love to accessorize it with a bold print.
The deep red and blue shade of this scarf was the perfect tone to compliment the rest of the outfit. I added caged pump heels to make the outfit more chic and was ready to face our 60 degree cold weather, as we call it here in L.A.
Although our warm weather is really nice, I sure do miss snow and a white Holiday season that gives you the true feeling of cold weather.

Digital Plaid

Sometimes one bold print can make a statement of its own.
This plaid blazer from 1 State is definitely a show stopper. I thought by now that I had collected enough plaid in my closet but I was yet to be proven wrong. This digital plaid print piece can take your outfit from casual to extra glam in an instant.

I wanted to keep this outfit simple with the button up shirt and skinny jeans to allow the print to stand on its own. The digital print breaks it apart from your casual plaid and also makes a very structured classic blazer reflect younger and more fun!
I will definitely be wearing this plaid blazer more often.
Any suggestions on other outfit possibilities? I would love to know what you guys think.

Red & Striped

All it takes is one key color to make any outfit look bold and totally amazing.
You guessed it. A rich crimson red is definitely my favorite hue of the season.
As a matter of fact, all year around considering my wallet, car and everything else is currently fiery red.

Cape Craze

Crazy for capes!
Not only was this trend all over the runways but it has now taken over street style looks and it is here to stay!
Fall brings a season of layering and there is nothing more chic about throwing on a cape.
It's versatile style gives you the opportunity to turn a lazy-day outfit into super-chic with a twist.
Here, I paired it with a tank top and destroyed jeans. You can start with a pair of skinny jeans and a tucked-in solid top for proportion. To complete the look, throw on a printed luxe-textured cape as your show stopper.

If you haven't jumped on the cape trend for fall yet, maybe one of the below fun pieces will change your mind.
Have fun with it!

Downtown Cool Vibe

It's finally cooling down in Los Angeles! As the crisp fall air moves in and the summer sun gets farther away, outerwear and boots are at the top of my list.

I'm just going to say it: Ankle boots might be my favorite type of boots.
They can be tough when paired with a classic moto and skinny jeans. But they also work with a flared skirt of a cocktail dress for more of an unexpected downtown-cool vibe.

I paired it today with my classic go-to plaid flannel shirt and black skinny jeans.
After I accessorized my top with black leather and booties, I realized this outfit became more of an edgy-cool girl vibe, which fit our gloomy weather perfectly.

I hope everyone had a great weekend!
