The Structured & Distressed Boyfriend

Structure and black defines chic for me.
Think blazers, your classic button up shirt, and tailored pieces.
Nonetheless, pairing it with a more slouchy bottom can take your outfit from polished to street chic.

The "boyfriend" silhouette has evolved and changed my wardrobe. It can be found in over-sized shirts, distressed and slouchy bottoms, to longer outerwear pieces.

This boyfriend inspired pea coat is definitely going to be one of m y favorites for the season!
I paired it with my go-to distressed jeans and a structure button up to give my wardrobe a mixture of refined meets grunge feminine.

Poplin & Leather

Happy Wednesday Everyone!
As we all know, my love for leather is unconditional. I have paired it with graphic tees, sweaters, knits, you name it and I have styled a leather skirt with it. (Except for a poplin shirt)
I am trying to step out of my comfort zone more and also pair unusual fabrications together that I wouldn't normally wear.
I recently bought this amazing polka dot poplin shirt and thought it would be perfect to style it with leather to break it apart from the "professional/business" type of look it usually reflects.
