RED OFF THE SHOULDER

Bare those shoulders, because this season is all about showing them off. The off the shoulders trend is back in business and it's trending from designer silhouettes to fast fashion markets.

It's personally one of my favorite silhouettes because it's flirty and feminine yet casual and chic. I, previously, paired it with high-waisted trousers but this time, I am bringing out a mid-length midi skirt. In addition, red is also one of my favorite pop colors to take any outfit from casual to fab.

You are all amazing and thank you so much for continuously reading my blog!
Any thoughts, suggestions, or comments on what to film next for my YouTube channel?

Xo,
Lillian

WHITE TULLE

Ever since I can remember, I have dreamed of throwing on a tulle skirt, high heels, and feeling like a fairy princess for the day. When Space 46 Boutique reached out to me, I knew it was the perfect chance to start my 27th birthday celebration with making a childhood dream of mine come true.
What young girl doesn't dream of wearing a tulle skirt and being a princess for the day?

I, instantly, felt such joy throwing this tulle skirt on and pranced along the streets of Pasadena.
Tulle is such a feminine detail and reflects a whimsical look. I couldn't help but to smile and knew that this shoot was the perfect way to complete my birthday celebration.

What are some of your childhood dreams?

BIRTHDAY WISHES

Today, I turn 27!
I feel like it was just yesterday that I finished school, started working as an assistant designer, and began my blog as a side hobby.
Now two birthday posts later, you all are the reason why this hobby has grown into a full time passion for me.

As a little girl, I always dreamed of being independent and starting a career that I love and can call my passion. I have always loved fashion, jewelry, and so much more but Studs and Sapphires has allowed me to explore my creativity and share so much with you all.

I am very excited for this year as I hope to continue following my dreams. I plan to spend countless hours behind my laptop learning to perfect videos, continue to shoot my outfits, as well as bring a new aspect of beauty to the blog.

From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank you enough for all of the support. Thank you for reading my posts, following me along social media, and your endless love.

To both my new readers and the ones who have been with me since the beginning, I couldn't do any of this without you.

Hugs and Kisses to you all!!

Xo,
Lillian

Gingham Check

Aside from black being my constant staple, navy has truly grown on me as a core color. It's a classic color, with a subtle pop and keeps an outfit fun and chic.
The plaid for the summer has transitioned into gingham. You have seen me wear it as a dress and in bottoms but now I am styling the classic gingham check shirt.

My Everyday Makeup Look

This post is sponsored by Target.
Hello lovelies! I am back today with a makeup tutorial and can’t wait to hear what you think.
I have collaborated with Target for their new Beauty Box launch and I’m sharing how to create a look that is trending from the Spring 2015 runways.

For this tutorial, I wanted to focus on the “all over nude” makeup trend. One of the biggest trends on the runways was nude makeup, but not necessarily the no-makeup trend. When the products are used correctly, this look can make your cheekbones look sharper, eyes look bigger, and your face brighter. The trick is to play with different nude shades and textures. I kept my eye shadows matte, lips glossy, and a touch of shimmer with blush.

This look is a subtle way to add dimension and interest to your look while keeping it fresh and casual for a day glow.

Please subscribe, comment below, and let me know what you think!
If you recreate this look, make sure to tag me because I would love to see it!

Floral Off Shoulder

It's the middle of the week and I'm here to talk to you about this new off-the-shoulder trend I am lusting over. It's not necessarily a new trend but this season, get ready to bare those shoulders.
The off-the-shoulder silhouette makes for the perfect beach day to happy hour outfit.

I paired it with high-waisted pants but you can style it with a mid-length skirt or dress.
I am excited to share this look because I haven't styled my hair pulled back in a ponytail in years.
What do you all think? I wanted these gorgeous earrings from Juliet & Co, (link HERE) make a bold statement so I kept my hair pulled back for a cleaner more crisp look.

White & Striped

Happy Monday my loves! I hope you all had an amazing weekend. Mine was filled with filming some new tutorials and I can't wait to share.
Make sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel, if you haven't already, and stay tuned. (I will link it below!)

If you hadn't guessed it yet, white is definitely my color this season. It reminds me of warmer summer nights, and crisp and clean dressing. I don't believe in "no white after Labor Day" and I incorporate the color into my outfits year around. However, as April comes around, I spend the next four months wearing all white, touches of white, as you will see on the blog.
What do you think of the "white blazer"? How would you style it?
